- information you provide through our contact form or by email, including the selected support category and your message; and
- basic website usage information, such as page views and unique visitors.
Payment transactions are handled by our payment and delivery providers. Canadian Pantry Preparedness does not collect or store your complete payment-card information.
How we use your information
We may use your information to:
- deliver purchased products;
- respond to questions and provide customer support;
- confirm purchases and investigate download, payment or duplicate-order issues;
- review and process eligible refund requests;
- maintain necessary business, accounting and legal records; and
- improve our website, resources and customer experience.
Information submitted for customer support will not automatically be added to a marketing mailing list. Marketing messages will only be sent when you have separately agreed to receive them.
Sharing of information
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Information may be shared with service providers that help us operate the website, process payments, deliver digital products, manage email or provide customer support. These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, customers or business.
Storage outside Canada
Some service providers may store or process information outside Canada. Information stored in another country may be subject to that country's laws and may be accessible to its courts, law-enforcement agencies or government authorities.
Retention
Customer-support messages will generally be retained only as long as needed to resolve the matter and maintain reasonable business records, normally for no longer than 24 months after the matter is closed unless a longer period is legally required.
Transaction, accounting and tax records may generally be retained for at least six years or for any longer period required by law.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. However, no website, email service or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Please do not submit passwords, complete payment-card numbers, banking information or sensitive medical or health information through the contact form or by email.
